The short version: ArtArc collects no data. None.
ArtArc is a self-contained art-history reference. All content is bundled inside the app: it requires no account and contains no analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. The only time the app uses the network is to load and verify ArtArc Plus purchases through Apple’s App Store. Nothing about what you read or do in the app leaves your device.
ArtArc offers an optional upgrade, ArtArc Plus, as a subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock. All purchases are handled entirely by Apple — we never see or store your payment details, and Apple only tells the app whether Plus is currently active. We still collect no personal data of our own.
Every image in the app comes from public-domain and museum open-access collections — including Wikimedia Commons and The Metropolitan Museum of Art Open Access — and each one is credited on its detail page.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
