Local Storage Only

All your data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers or shared with third parties. Your subscription information never leaves your device.

This means:

• No cloud storage of your subscription data
• No tracking of your usage
• No sharing with advertisers or third parties
• Complete control over your information

Zero Data Collection

Sub Cue doesn't collect any personal data. The only data transmitted is for subscription purchases through Apple's App Store, which follows Apple's privacy policies.

Automatic & Manual Backup

Your data is automatically backed up through iCloud if you have app data backup enabled in your device settings. You can also manually export your data in multiple formats from Settings > Data Management.

Works Completely Offline

Sub Cue works completely offline since all data is stored locally. You only need internet for the initial app download and subscription purchases. All features work without an internet connection.

Secure Data with Face ID/Touch ID

Sensitive data in Sub Cue is protected with your biometrics (Face ID/Touch ID) for enhanced privacy:

• Personal notes on subscriptions
• Monthly activity calendar updates
• Access to subscription details when notes are hidden

You can also globally hide all notes for additional privacy, and all biometric authentication is handled locally on your device.

Usage Pattern Tracking

The Monthly Activity Calendar tracks your subscription usage patterns month-by-month. This data is:

• Stored locally on your device only
• Used to calculate activity-based spending analytics
• Protected with biometric authentication when editing
• Included in data exports for your records

This feature helps you understand which subscriptions you actually use, but all data remains private and under your control.

Quality Assessment Data

The star rating system allows you to rate subscription quality (1-5 stars). This data is:

• Stored locally on your device
• Used for analytics and subscription insights
• Optional - you can choose to show or hide ratings
• Included in data exports

Your ratings help you make informed decisions about subscriptions, but this personal assessment data never leaves your device.

Tax-Deductible Subscriptions

You can mark subscriptions as business expenses for tax purposes. This categorization data is:

• Stored locally on your device
• Used for business vs. personal analytics filtering
• Included in data exports for tax reporting
• Never shared with third parties

This feature helps you separate personal and business expenses, but all financial categorization remains private and under your control.

Complete Control Over Your Data

You have complete control over your data:

• Export your data in CSV, TSV, or TXT formats
• Export includes: subscription details, monthly activity data, star ratings, business expense flags, and spending history
• Delete all data at any time
• Reset onboarding to start fresh
• Keep your data even if you cancel your subscription
• Data remains accessible during the 7-day free trial
