Sub Cue is a subscription management app that helps you track all your recurring payments in one place. It provides analytics, reminders, and helps you avoid unexpected charges — with preloaded subscriptions for your region to get you started quickly.
When you first open Sub Cue you set your currency, review access options, then choose your setup: Preloaded Subscriptions, D.I.Y Install, or Import Backup. Preloaded includes up to 10 popular services for your region. Tap any item to update dates and pricing.
Starter templates based on your currency — up to 10 popular services. If you already use a service like Netflix, open it and set your real billing date and amount, then delete any you don't use.
Yes. Each subscription has a Business Expense toggle. In Analytics you can filter to show only business expenses, which works alongside the financial-year settings for tax reporting.
Assign each subscription to categories like Entertainment, Productivity, or Music. You can also create custom categories in Settings > Advanced Features > Custom Categories, and they feed the analytics breakdowns.
Inactive subscriptions are excluded from analytics, monthly totals, and upcoming renewals, but stay in your list for historical reference.
Sub Cue sets your financial year based on your currency (e.g. July 1 for Australia, January 1 for the US) and uses it for Committed, Estimated, and Previous year calculations. You can change it in Settings > Financial Year Settings.
Committed is what you've actually spent so far this financial year. Estimated is the projected full-year cost of all active subscriptions. Previous is the total from last financial year. All respect your financial-year start date.
Yes — Settings > Data Management > Export Data. All manual import and export require SubCue Pro or Lifetime Access, including TXT, SubCue Backup, CSV and TSV. Use SubCue Backup to restore your list; CSV and TSV are for spreadsheets.

Yes — Settings > Advanced Features > Hide All Notes hides every note globally. You can still unlock individual notes with Face ID / Touch ID when needed.
Completely. Sub Cue stores all data locally on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers or shared with third parties — your subscriptions, activity, ratings, and notes never leave your device.
Sensitive data like personal notes and monthly-activity edits is protected with biometric authentication, and you can globally hide all notes for extra privacy.
Yes. Everything is stored locally, so all features work offline — you only need internet for the initial download and purchases.
Sub Cue is free to use — no trial, no time limit. Free Mode tracks up to 10 subscriptions with monthly or yearly billing cycles, due dates, core analytics, the Deep Memory theme. Import and export, including TXT, require paid access.

Full access unlocks unlimited subscriptions, extra billing cycles, every theme, private notes, reminders, and all import/export formats. As an independent developer, I rely on your subscription to maintain SubCue, improve it and build new features.
Your basic subscription records remain on your device. Paid access normally continues until the end of the paid period after cancellation. When it ends, premium-only notes, custom categories and monthly-activity overrides are cleared and premium preferences reset. Export a backup while paid access is active to retain premium fields; import and export require SubCue Pro or Lifetime Access.
